The Telescopic Sight is a rare offensive item in Risk of Rain. On hitting an enemy, the player has a 1% chance to instantly kill an enemy and deals pure damage.[1] Its proc is signalled by a reticule appearing around the soon to be dead enemy, and a loud gunshot that sounds similar to the Sniper's Steady Aim ability.

...And please, actually use the scope. We are all impressed you can hit a target without it, but i'm tired of watching your videos. Spinning while firing is also a great way to lose your license.

TriviaEdit

  • The text "Spinning while firing is also a great way to lose your license" is a reference to the trend of "360 No-scoping" kills done in the Call Of Duty series especially, where the player would use a Sniper Rifle, spin 360 Degrees and fire without looking down the scope, supposedly showing a large amount of skill and good reaction times when done accurately.
  • The estimated delivery date, 4/20/2056, is referencing the trend of consuming cannabis, more commonly known as marijuana, on April 20, or 4/20. The number 420 is also in the same group, trend-wise, as the "No-scope" and other similar trends.
